More and more evidence suggests life is all over the universe, and meteorites maybe brought life here. University of California profs inspected two small meteorites that hit earth in 1998 and found water and organic compounds like hydrocarbons, amino acids. So stuff of life is in these rocks from space, and very likely there is life outside of earth also. I added a link to this note telling more about these rocks:
